Is it possible to do this with the stock seat belts?

it might be obvious but what are these seats? SPA? SPG?

Those are genuine NSX-R seats direct from Japan made by Recaro.

unfortunately it isnt shared with an existing seat. it was pretty much unique to the NSX R

FWIW I've been reliably informed that Recaro can no longer produce any more NSX-R seats as all of the molds etc have been sent to Honda in Japan.

Cobra Suzuka S in S2000. still trying to decide which position and which cushions (also bought cobra technology alacantra/memory foam cushions). seat does rub on both thigh bolsters (leather center console and door). spacer mesh is newest stuff out (more durable, fade resistant)

Also picked up a Cobra Suzuka S seat, one that Sube Sports had kicking around in red leather. One off, had been sitting around for a while. Got it for cheap!

Per their advice, also bought a set of Buddyclub rails from Go Tuning. Spent a few evenings with the seat in and out of the car, trying to figure out a good compromise for rubbing and such. Bought longer bolts and a pile of fender washers, to move the seat's positioning around a bit.

I've got it about 90% of where I want it now, but the shoulder support rubs on the door and because of the leather, it squeaks on bumps and acceleration. I may try pushing the seat inwards a bit more with even more washers, or I may put a piece of ultrasuede on the door so that the leather will 'glide' on it and not squeak any more.

My pix are from one of the initial testing sessions, the seat is a bit further inwards now.

Thanks to gospeedgo1 for posting pix of his Cobra seat in the car in the first place.

Nice looking seats. Which seat rails did you use? Do you sit higher, lower or about the same as stock? Thanks!
