I think his point was, if you're going to go through all the trouble of the extreme bodywork for a clean flare, why not run 11 or 11.5 wide.

I guess it's mostly cause there aren't a whole lot of wheels readily available in those widths?

If you are doing it for performance reasons, there is no reason to go with a 11 or 11.5...

If you are doing it for looks, well it's a different look if you fill up the inside of the wheel well to the mm rather than having less backspacing. Again, to each his own but in my opinion, having maximum backspacing is not the greatest look, especially from the rear view. It doesn't give the appearance of having a wide track.

I think wider has a pleasing look myself, I just know that I won't do it because I don't want to buy tires to fit those sizes, especially since I like running a more square setup.

To me, seems like 10.5-11 would be prime for rears, and maybe a 10 front, max.

I dunno, to be frank I don't understand running an 11.5" and then putting a 245 on it or maybe even less. That's just me.

Either way, I've been pleasantly surprised by some setups posted that I didn't think I'd be fond of and ended up liking. There are alot of things (like your car alex) that I like, but won't personally do to my own car.

I wonder what custom re-barreled M7's would look like with a semi-gloss black center and full gloss black lip....hmmmmm.

thats dan from ccw. hes who you generally talk to to place an order

hes saying if youre going through the trouble of panel modification, just to get a low offset, why not throw more wheel on the inside to get a nice width.

i understand where both parties are coming from.

hopefully my 11.5 +41 will be here shortly. im putting 295s on them, and 9.5 +51 for the front with 255. thanks to dan and alexis for the help
