Depending on the offset, it will get you a slightly different face if you get into the 40's. There are 3 types of discs: S1, S2, S3, of course 3 being the max:

9.5 + 40
Face: S3 (short rim) = Concave (Not GTR though), and small lip. Check Ken's car? Evasive LBP with the white RE30 non stags to get a better idea what they look like

as well as having two L-Discs: L1, L2

9.5 +35
Face: L1 (long rim) = Flat face, bigger lip.

The S3 face design is very miniscule, however,I rather opt for the 9.5 +35 because I think it looks alot better

Thanks I'm trying to see the difference its hard to imagine I think im going toward 17x9.5 +35 also
