Hah, nah just want a little less stretch on the 255/40, if they offered 265 I'd keep them, but next size up tire is 275 and that's way to big of a sidewall.

You do realize that's an optimum amount of stretch right? The reduced sidewall deflection will actually allow the tire to use the full tread better under load, and increase steering response.

It's obviously up to you, but that's the exact reason I want the very setup you have one day.

Run a normal 265/40, they'll fit square on the 10". Or join the R888 crew haha

There aren't any good choices for 265/40 KBB and how are the R888 in the rain? I can't imagine they are any good in anything except perfect weather?

Yea theres not much for choices in 265/40.

The R888's in rain are terrible. If the road is shiny with water, pull over. I had to do 30MPH on the shoulder of I-87 so I wouldnt cause a 100 car pile up if I spun out haha. I got off the next exit and waited for it to stop. Of course the tires were worn, but I don't think they're known for wet traction.

I never drive my car in the rain, that was the first time (just because I got caught in it). It has to be 30% or less chance of rain before I take it out of the garage. I act like its an LP670 SV.
