I agree with you it does look better on larger diameter. Wheels, on the 17s it makes the rim look smaller. I've been trying to think up a way to paint it in the same red, can't think of a clean solution though.

 

Agree as well, but a concave TE that fits a stock body with a nice size tire has been on my wish list for a while .. thats why I decided to just have them redone, I just wish I could keep the machined Volk on the spoke somehow.

Hmm that's a good question, I'll forward that to Marty, see what he says. I might just get mine redone in a nice bronze, will ease the pain of selling the CE's

Btw want to post some pics of the CE's to add some pics to this thread.....right before I took them off and boxed them up. A shame only a couple Thousand miles on them. On second glance, that looks like an SL version, no diamond cut lip, the spoke branding doesn't look etched it but that looks more like a sticker to me what the one picture we have, and also the center hub has a machined look which is what the SL are known for. But I could be wrong.

 

Nope those rims are in fact etched it's just hard to see (I'd have to take them out of the box again to get another picture). You are correct in the fact that they are SL series rims...

They are TE37SL 2012 Limited. They were only sold in Japan...
