Offical VOLK Racing Wheel Thread!
As far as fender clearance, it's all about what you're comfortable with. I'm running 255's all around, and I pulled the top of the front wheel under the fenders using the Origin Offset UCA bushings. You can run the wheels without them, but they sit to close to the fenders for my comfort, and personally I think it looks better when the front wheels sit underneath the fenders similar to the rears. Outside of that you'll want the standard roll, liner trim, and camber. I'm running -2.8 in the picture above.
Here is a direct before/after of what the bushings do to the top of the wheel relative to the fender.
The 9.5 +47 CE's have a ton of BBK room. I'm not even close to touching anywhere. I have no idea what clearance the TEs in the same specs have.

looking to get these te's back on the S. 17 x 9.5 +41. back on stock fenders now, not 12mm widened. ce28 17 x 9.5 +47 on re-71 rs is the new super street setup. ikeya front arms have a huge array of settings to get your tires exactly where you want them to be.
I spent a few years figuring out what wheels I want to go for when I wanted to upgrade to a 255 square setup for my S2000. I considered the TE37, ZE40, TC105N/X, and the Regamaster Evo II, but ultimately went for the CE28s. Was a bit bummed once Evasive Motorsports stopped selling the 17x9.5 +50 CE28Ns when I was trying to get CEs, but Gruppe-S stepped up with their exclusive spec CE28SL which looks really good.
I'm glad I went for the CE28s. They fit the S2000 so, so well.
17x9.5 +46 Volk Racing CE28SL Pressed Graphite, 255/40R17 A052s at the time of the picture, upper control arm offset bushings on the front. Fenders are rolled front, shaved rear.
I have this setup for a year. I never noticed any rubbing on the several track days I take my car to. It did rub during full-lock steering in parking lot type maneuvers, but that's the only time I noticed rubbing and it's on the inner fender.
