just ordered a set of bronze 17x9.5 +35 ce28's
Why not the 17x10 +45's? I'm surprised I don't see more people with them... The inner clearance doesn't seem to be an issue, they sit a few mm's further under the car then the 17x9.5 +35's, and they have the lip and concave face

Not sure exactly.

I bet it's because in a 17, what size tire are you going to run besides a 255? And that's the same amount of stretch. 9.5 +35 sits just about perfect with a 245 on stock body with flared fronts.

I've been struggling a long time deciding what I want to do between the 2 options tbh.

its only .5 of an inch difference...im only gonna be running a 245 in the rear cause i dont want to pull my quarter panel. so less stretch the better

Yeah I guess when it comes to running concave CE's on a stock body S, with rolled/slightly pulled fenders I just figured if the 10" +45's sit a little further under the car, and the 255/40 on a 10 is a similar stretch to a 245/40 on a 9.5 then why not?
