It helps eliminate understeer and allows for driver induced oversteer due to more grip in the front (I'm pretty sure that's the reason). A lot of track junkies run the non-staggered wheels. Plus, it looks better having a more aggressive look on the front

Don't plan on doing this unless you get coilovers and get them dialed in well.
