Nice stuff, but it doesn't do anyone any good unless you guys state how it affected your ride quality?

It may look nice, but who cares if it doesn't do what it was meant to do.

I agree. On my '01 AP1 I installed each piece one at a time to evaluate the change in handling, both street and track. In most cases the bars did minor to nothing, though there where some pieces that did help and was a "feelable" difference.

On my '01 AP1 I had the Spoon X-Brace, the Cusco Chassis Brace, Spoon Front STB, Cusco Rear STB and Cusco Rear Frame Brace.

IMO the Chassis Brace and the X-Brace where the only pieces that improved any "feel".

The STB did not do much in the feeling of turn in at either low or highway speeds, though I have head wonders about the 4-point STB (since it bolts to the lower steering rack itself) I am looking forward to getting my S2X STB and putting on the car.

The rear lower Cusco piece is totally cosmetic only, since it just replaces an existing OEM brace with a shiny counterpart.

I have not had any experience with the front or lower Tie Braces (from GT-Spec) and am looking forward to also having them on the car.

I do have to consider that my '04 AP2 also has 2 braces not found in an AP1. And though chassis stiffening does help a lot in the feel and response of a car at highway speeds, I have found that for most a really good set of coil overs with decent spring rates and adjustable dampening make the most difference in handling.

People stating their opinions about what the bars do is going to be totally subjective, and therefore still not helpful. Coilover suspensions and sway bar changes are noticeable. Everything else is subjective.

The other issue is the fact that everyone has a different reason for wanting to modify the car. A part that is perfect for one person's use might not do anything at all for someone else, just because they are using the car in different situations.

Ok so here is a quick update... front lower tie brace, front lower subframe brace, rear lower sub frame brace & rear lower tie brace.

I'm still waiting on Sam to give me the heads up when the next batch of S2X 4-point braces arrive and then I'm getting the Cusco floor brace as well.

Once every thing is in, I'll post pics from the install and some feedback.

If you are really worried about losing 1 inch/pound of torque for a millisecond when you hit the gas, get solid engine mounts. If not, save your money.
solid engine mounts? arriving at my place in about 2 weeks should be a fun car
