So I want to get beefier tires for the front on my rpf1's. I have 225/45 F and 255/40 R on my 17x9 +45 F 17x9.5 +38 R wheels currently. I'm thinking about going 245/40 up front...will the front look more beefy than the rear or will it look good? Goal is to have more grip in the front and to fill my fender with more tire. Btw I have hankook ventus v12 tires.

Thanks guys

Just got them put on today. Black 17x9, 245/40 all around Ordered center caps / red lug nuts and will take pics as soon as they come in (it looks a bit naked right now). I got the wheels from tirerack, but it didn't come with any decals. Should I call tirerack and/or enkei to see if I can get them shipped for free? Otherwise it looks like they cost ~10$ each which is pretty ridiculous. At that price point might as well make custom decals from vinz

I feel like I've been reading this thread for days! Just pulled the trigger on a set of Gold RPF1's 17x9 +45. Now I can't figure out what tire size to run. I'm lowered on Buddyclub N+ and the stock tires are about flush with the fender. No gap. But I'm willing to raise it. Having the fenders shaved and tabs relocated. What tire size should I run front/rear for NO drama. Meaning, I won't rub or run the risk of messing up the car. My guess based on 56 pages of reading was 225/45 F 255/40 R Thoughts??
Raise the car and run at least a 245 up front. With a good roll and slight pull you can easily do a 255 as well.
Yes the car needs to come up, way too low the way it is now. If I run 245s all around is there camber involved to make it work? Keep in mind PA roads are crazy so I'm not sure I want to go out there with the 245s. Thanks for the input!

how about fitmnent of following RFP1's?
7.5" +48
9" +45

input i've got so far from 1tsxer (thx for that !!!) that fronts will be fine but rear fender tabs will need relocating.

i really would like to avoid fender rolling.....

anyone else have same setup?
i'm ready to get RFP1's.
i looooooooove them in Gold and i see that these days i can get golds in 8 +45 and 9 +45.

so rears won't be too much trouble.

what will i have to do to make fronts fit good? will some roling be enough?

Yeah of course you'll need some neg camber. With 245s all around you won't need as much as 255s though, of course. Also depends on your height.
