Here's mine! I wish I could somehow keep the boot from sinking down, so it's flush with the knob like some of your guys.

^Actually all you need to do is pull the console upwards until the boot is tight against the knob. You'll be pulling up as if you're trying to get the boot over the knob but the hole obviously isn't big enough. With it pulled up just grab a ziptie and get it snug around the shift lever. Put the console back down and now you've got a boot that sits flush with the knob and looks much better. Also, there is no need for the locking nut either. The only reason they use it on the factory knob is so that you can get it tight with the shift pattern facing in the right direction. If you've got a knob that doesn't have any kind of logo or pattern then it doesn't matter and it'll get the knob to sit just a bit lower.

You can see I put the nut back on. I didn't like how low it was without the nut so I put it on and moved it up pretty high. It just doesn't feel as smooth when its that low. Its a little shorter than stock but not much.

^now do what I said and get the boot up flush with the knob. It looks so much better. The nut doesn't need to be removed to have the boot up.

Nice fortune knob by the way. That's what mine was before I sold it.

I want to get one of those mugen stick knobs to try that out. I think I prefer the taller stick/egg shaped compared to the round knob.

lol did yours look like mine? i wonder if some have their gradient different, like more gold at the bottom you can't even tell its differnet colored in my car unless I'm looking at it at that angle. Its just a blue ball from the top. I've tried bringing up the boot and it looks kinda wierd since the boot looks so long. I guess it just kinda looks like the STI shifter now lol.
