use a mapp gas torch for about 10min. once you start to notice the knob turn golden, itll be hot enough. just keep circling heat around it til you get the color you want. if you notice mine, its light blue up top and goes gradient to gold on bottom.

I had the regular aluminum vodoo knob wich weighed 140 grams. I really hated that knob. Loved the counter sunk-ness but since it was lighter than my stock one it felt so freakn notchy and shatty.

I just recently bought this vodoo style knob from chillout18 wich weighs 525 grams and WOW what a huge difference..it is night and day. Its so heavy/solid it slides into the gears w/o that nasty notchyness. If anybody ever buys an aftermarket knob, i really recomend the heaviest you can find like this one

i had to rethread the tap...other than that it fits... its hard to drive though, my hand hits the dash every now and again
