How do you do the one in the taillight?

And also, what exactly is the one in the diffuser, anyone have a picture of the actual light and I'm assuming you just cut the diffuser to fit?

The one on the tailight is the OEM AP2 uk rear fog. You would have to buy the tail lamp.

The one in the diffuser is also an OEM piece, but for the AP1. If you look inside the USDM AP1 bumper the outline of where to cut is already there and the factory mounting locations are also there. Cut bolt, wire and done

Oh damn wasn't aware of that, My M3 had the 'euro fog' in the taillight.. But I was wondering if I could get that effect with my AP1 lights as well.

I had to do the same thing. They are hard to find (esp in good condition) and can range from $50-$90 plus shipping. I suppose it could be ordered from a UK dealer, but not even sure how to go about that.

lawliver did a really good write up on the installation and helped me with mine.

here are some pics of my install, though the one I bought the brackets had rusted off and I had to fabricate my own. but you get the idea.
