I changed up my wheels recently, I sold my ap2v3's and put on a set of JDM OEM ap1 BBS rims. I'm still running 20mm front spacers for clearance, same as I ran with my previous rims.

thanks thats what I read on another thread. Will I need extended studs running a 3mm spacer?

No you should be fine. Anything thicker than that and you'll need extended studs. I'm running 3mm spacers right now without issues.
