updated: new pics of the diffuser, i have made no changes, even if voltex where to make any new brackets it would not change how this is mounted. its mounted as high as it will go before it hits my exhaust. for those who have theirs mounted, i used all the ap2 brackets for the sides, but i used the ap1 center brackets because they were about 1/2 shorter. i like it exactly how it is
sorry to disappoint only one crappy cell pic
for comparison
EDIT: ill add this, anyone that owns a diffuser can feel my pain.
I feel your pain, my shine diffuser becomes a bird bath when it rains or when i wash my car. Then on a nice dry sunny day, it becomes a reptile habitat.
It seems alot of people are having a problem with the way the voltex diffuser is sitting, it seems voltex might have supplied us with the wrong brackets or something as it sits alot lower then evasives s2000. Not to mention there's quite afew gaps hope we can get this sorted out soon as it's so low it's hard to drive
i think a lot of it has to do with the crummy angle of the picture, ill try to take a few more once the weather clears up. the quality is much better then my last diffuser, its also more functional as it goes much further back. but like vyets said the diffuser seriously sits on the ground. i have about 1 3/4in clearance off the ground, that is already modifying the brackets so that it mounted a little higher the the brackets that were provided.
