some conflicting information i saw in regards to ap2 v3s with 15mm spacers...

please clarify - will they work? or the wheels cannot take the protrusion?

and which spacers should i buy?

will be running either 245 or 255 in the rears (haven't decided), fenders have been rolled... and dropped just about 1 inch on PSS9s..

thanks.
When using Project Kics spacers, 15mm WILL NOT work...unless you want to shave/cut your OEM studs...

You need at least 20mm for v3s, if all you want to do is bolt on...

I'm using 20mm all around...

here's some more info for those of you to assist:

Integral spacer definition = spacer with new studs so they bolt right on

H/R only makes Integral spacers in 25mm with new studs but the problem is it's too wide for most s2000's!

Project Kics has Integral spacers in 20mm but they are not hubcentric unless you buy separate rings.

**H/R spacers is the BEST QUALITY BAR NONE in terms of material used. I've already stripped a few studs on "other" brands, trust me H/R is the best quality by far....all those other JDM brands use weaker metal.

OEM ap2 v3 rims do NOT have the rear recessed holes so essentially it's the same as that picture I posted with my NSX wheel. This means you MUST use a 20mm+ Integral spacer to clear the oem studs.

s2000 owners in general will want NO MORE than 15mm spacers if you do not want to destroy your fenders. Quite frankly I think 10mm is the safest if you want to be safe, especially if you are dropped. Does not matter what springs/coilovers or stiffness that make you think you are special, YOU ARE NOT!

People asked me why I can run 20mm up front and the reason is the OEM NSX wheel is 17x7, +60 (5mm less aggressive than OEM s2000 which is 17x7, +55)

So essentially I'm only running a 15mm spacer (20-5=15mm) Got it?

Rick, H&R has a set of 20mm hubcentric spacers with integrated studs, I know, I have them on my front wheels

Alright, here is the debate:

15mm / 20mm or 20mm / 25mm ??

Im only lowered on Tein S-techs (about 1" drop) and running stock 215/245

with the 15 / 20 would I need to roll?

with the 20 / 25 would I need to roll?

Also, ive been through this thread a few times and this hasnt really been answered. With the ap2 v1's, there ARE recessed dimples on the back of the wheel. That being said, are 15mm spacers too small to maintain keeping the oem studs? Or do you need to cut the oem studs with 15mm spcaers?

Thanks.
Both of those combinations with a 1" drop will require a roll. the 20/25 will require a bit of camber. The problem isn't straight line -- it's in turns and going up or down driveways. Especially with springs that are relatively soft, you're guaranteed to pull a fender out by the tab in the front at some point in time.

15mm spacers will work with the recessed holes of the AP2 V1/V2s. I have a set and they work.

I'm going to reiterate this point again. Rick and I have both answered this question time and time again and people keep asking over and over.

If you're trying to be "flush" or anywhere near it with spacers, and you're dropped -- YOU NEED TO ROLL YOUR FENDERS. If you don't, your FENDERS WILL EVENTUALLY GET PULLED OUT. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when. You'll cry, and we'll tell you we told you so.
