i'm sure there are plenty because plenty can't afford to spend $4K on quality aftermarket wheels.

it's only when $s come into play where people prefer the factory wheels... you need to like whaty ou got and you will justify its value. factory wheels have offsets that look best at stock height. most aftermarket wheels will look worse at stock height.

but when yoyu start to tinker witht he suspension by lowering it, you need to head to the aftermarket selection for the best look.

with that said, there's a lot of crap aftermarket wheels people shoe onto their s2000s but whatever a lot of people just don' t have a clue either
lots of people spend thousands of dollars on wheels that are terrible. i think that the same minds that designed the rest of the car can get at least a decent set of wheels with it. i liked the AP1s but they're too small, sold them and got a set of ap2 V1s and powdercoated them white, i admit that i do like the work emotion cr kai's in white just as much, but why pay way more money for something when i don't like it better? Sure, i'd rock out a set if someone just gave them to me, but i dont like them any more than the v1's.

you may not like the stock wheels and thats fine if you don't, but don't try to act better than others just because you're not satisfied with stock and have to spend money on aftermarket stuff, i love my ap2 v1's and if someone handed me a set of cr kai's today or any other aftermarket wheel i'd sell them for coilovers or for money towards a supercharger ect.

guys this thread is not a debate of stock over aftermarket rims, let's just stay on topic ok

I never said OEM wheels are da best anyways - they are heavy for one and countless other negatives....

But the same can be said for many aftermarket rims I've seen that make the car look worse than stock so it can go both ways. I'm just giving majority owners another choice if you chose to go OEM!

PLUS: LET'S NOT FORGET AT TIME OF SALE, WHAT RIM DO MOST PEOPLE WANT ON THE CAR? HAHAHA STOCK BABY!

Does H&R make a 15mm spacer w/integrated studs?

I can't seem to find anything listed for the S, only the 25mm. Is the one in the first pict from H&R? I obviously don't want to take the hub apart and would use it with oem wheels.

exactly my point.

there are a ton of choices in the aftermarket and 95% of them are junk wheels.

the majority of s2000s i've seen here with aftermarket wheels run into a minimum of two issues: 1) they don't fit right; 2) they look worse than stock.

stick to the reputable brands like Work, Fikse, HRE, Volk and you're fine. BBS, OZ are good too. OEM wheels are clean at stock height, but that's where they give way to the aftermarket.

once you lower, the aftermarket always has a better fitting, looking wheel where you don't have to surrender to stupid arse spacers. heck, some of them make hubcentric wheels!

but don't tell me then that you're totally shunning the quality wheels above because you love the stock look so much. u admit yourself you want more for your car like an SC so you're being mindful of your budget which implies certain limitations (unless you're a dumbarse).

spacers suck. aftermarket wheels > factory wheels.

That's enough. Stay on topic or stay out of the thread.

No they don't, Project Kics does though, I have them in the front.

Yes but very very shallow. The stock Ap1 wheels would not even fit with my 20mm spacers in the rear. 25mm minimum bolt on spacer size required to prevent the stock studs from bottoming out in the recessions of the AP1 wheels.

I've said it before but I'll say it again, the NSX wheels look great on your S2000, Rick.

With the 25 mm spacers on the back, would that look normal with no spacers on the front? Just until I get new wheels here in like 2 months.
