Your "gunmetal" wanna be color is a fad, once the fad fades, you will be left with everyone calling you the primer color, from the robocop Taurus.
Always looks filthy, Honda dropped the color in 02 because they were embarassed, they put out such a foul fleet of cars. Hence the beauty of the Sebring Silver Metallic.
They brought it back as a fad pleaser.
