Does anyone know where to find info about the wind tunnel testing on the Mugen aero parts? I swear there was an article somewhere many years ago, I just can't seem to find it. Mainly looking for info on the 3pc spoiler.

 

I always thought the Mugen badge on the inside of their hardtops was in the wrong position, so I added a titanium Mugen badge on the front interior of my Mugen CF hardtop. I also added a couple stickers to the interior sides to tbrighten things up as well.

As far as Mugen parts go I have a Mugen header and Mugen CF hardtop.

Thanks buddy. The Mugen stickers and the badge are authentic Mugen pieces, so I didn't mind adding them on the inside. I bought a strip of them from King so if the exterior ones ever get damaged I have some spares.

yea as far as i know the real mugen tops also have a type of cut out near the door where as the replicas run smooth all the way to the window right?

mine is VIS and runs smooth. I have intentions of getting a real one in the future but for now im focused on keeping the car safe, my soft top is already torn

 

its not authentic Mugen man....its a replica with oem hardware. Sorry someone ripped you off, ...but if you are happy with it, just leave it alone and enjoy.

Take a look at the weave of the carbon(biggest give away) compared to a real Mugen carbon fiber hardtop(there are plenty of pics posted of in this thread) Mugen weave is tight, yours looks like Forbidden 2x2 weave to me, but I dont study the replicas enough to know for sure. Your weather stripping is also not OEM.
If it was "real" the person who did the roof liner wouldnt have covered the badge.....just sayin'

JFusion, I havent got any pics yet. Was busy doing a valve adjustment this week. I did take it for the first drive since putting it on and am very happy. I still got a tiny bit of wind noise by my shoulder so I may try and fine tune it this week.
