I am aware this is a Mugen thread hence why I posted here. My top is 100% authentic but I will happily delete my post if it makes you happy.
Dude who lied to you, and said it was real

That shit is 100% fake. That piece of shit you bought does not even fit!

Mods Please clean this up.
yea as far as i know the real mugen tops also have a type of cut out near the door where as the replicas run smooth all the way to the window right?

mine is VIS and runs smooth. I have intentions of getting a real one in the future but for now im focused on keeping the car safe, my soft top is already torn

Yeah the small cutout at he door edge is a definite Mugen detail, if you don't have it you don't have a real Mugen. Not saying you don't have a decent HT but it's not a Mugen and people pay a premium to get Mugen quality that you don't find elsewhere.

Yes!
I need to find new bolts. These are not tight enough to hold the ring in place.

any speciality fastener shop should have what you need. www.mcmaster.com is a good reference.

Found the right screws at a different Home Depot. Painted them with nail polish. Thanks for all the suggestions.

5 sets have left the building.

3 more sets have been tentatively sold already....leaving me with just three sets to myself.

I'd love to own a set some day, best wheel ever.
