I've ran the Mugen ECU on 93 octane for the last 2 years without any problems. We only get 93 octane premium in TX. No problems with passing emissions for last 2 years. My fuel mileage suffered initially, but over the years has normalized back to the fuel mileage before I swapped ECUs.
now to just find one for a decent price!

Well my Mugen coilovers are taking a little longer than expected. They should be here by mid month though. I also have my Mugen front splitter, Mugen fan switch, and Mugen spark plug cover on the way.

I am debating on placing my next order with King. If I do it will be pretty much the last of the Mugen parts I am going to buy. It will consist of the following:

Mugen AP2 exhaust
Mugen 6spd shift knob
Mugen oil cap (old one)
Mugen radiator cap
Mugen license plate bolts

There's never enough Mugen parts to buy. Even my car that's all Mugen'd out, I'm still missing a lot of things.
