Just pulled the trigger on a massdrop for a BlackVue DR650S-2CH. I figured it would make me a bit more comfortable leaving my S parked outside in the rare occasion.

And I'm going to try and use a fuse tap, so I don't have to snip any of the car wiring hopefully. Does anyone else run a dashcam?

Ah cool. I'll look to see what Jason is up to. I'll probably drive down the night before, all day meeting, then drive home at night.

Next time we hang out, I'd like to check it out. Sounds interesting.

I'd like to check it out. Dashcam or a radar detector in the nose, with a display in the cabin, is what I am wanting to add.

Ah good to know. I take it then you didn't have to cut into any of your stock wiring either?

Yeah for sure. I don't think it'll ship for a few months but hopefully I'll get it by the end of the summer and can set aside a weekend to install everything. Still need to do that stereo install too...

Yes, but the wife makes use a tissue instead of my sleeve.

The radar detector is in the grill with the display and controls in the cabin. The dash cam is mounted on the windshield right behind the rearview mirror.
