Is anyone in the Massilon area familiar with this car
Came across this on eBay. I wouldn't be willing to drop $29k and black isn't my first choice, but with 9k miles it is interesting. I wasn't sure if anyone was familiar with the owner.

Seems legit and the car's license plate is visible. The VIN is not posted though. Ask for it and ask the owner to spring for a Carfax if he expects to sell it in the condition it appears to be.
My "price rule of thumb" is $20,000 for these cars plus or minus every model year older/newer than 2006 and every 10,000 miles less/more than 50K. 2007 = +$1000. 10,000 miles = +$4000. Which makes this a $25,000 car. But that's just an estimate I made up two years ago shopping for my '06 car. With rising prices for near mint cars this could easily be a $27,000 car. Value on the car will drop rapidly if driven in an Ohio winter.
I love black cars! Other guys black cars. Silver is so easy to keep clean.

I am with you Chuck! My SSM has me spoiled. I had a black k-swap civic and then a GPW S2k, both looked great when clean but were hard to keep that way!
I think a black car with bronze wheels looks awesome though!

Yeah I noticed that. I am not sure what I am after TBH. Mine is modded just perfectly, in pretty good cosmetic condition, runs great, and I have next to nothing in it. Cons are it has 140k miles and is the single most common S2k (2001 SSM). I was fairly certain that I wanted a 2010+ Cayman S, but I am not sure that I won't miss the S2k, heck guys in car talk like their s2k as much/more than GT4s they just bought!!
So, now I am considering trying to find "the perfect forever S2k", just not sure what that really is for me. I love driving them hard, taking them to the track when I want, smashing cones in parking lots, and tossing the keys to a friend with no worries. At the same time I kinda want a pristine more rare combo. The two kinds conflict. In either case IMO the ones with stupid low miles are horrible investments if you are going to drive them. The black one is dang low, but not unrealistic premium low. It is just relatively common, if it had red interior it would be hard to resist.
