It's with great pride that I can announce that I am officially back in the HONDA business. It has been a little over two years since I was in a Honda parts dept but I can now say that is no longer true. After a brief year and half stint in the bodyshop world I have agreed to become the Parts Manager at Rick Case Honda in Cleveland. I feel that this is a perfect fit for me because for the first time in a very long time the store and the Case family are investing in people. Gone is the rotating door that has driven the store down in past years. The commitment they have showed toward me, the GM and the service manager is a strong indication that they are in this for the long haul. As many of you know from buying from me in the past or from attending my HondaFest car shows - I support the S2000 community. I have been on the job for a few weeks and have several projects on my plate - including reconnecting with the Ohio S2000 community. As in the past I will be available to help any of you anyway I can. I also have permission to do a Mod Day / Service Day or allow the use of our facility for club meetings. I just wanted to drop a post in to let all you guys know where I'm at and that I am available for all your HONDA needs. As for the HondaFest car show - it will return, bank on it. It may not be this year due to all the things I need to strighten out and organize - but 2014 for sure. As always I will be looking for a strong showing from many of you to make the show a sucess. Thanks for the kind words guys. Its great to be back and the department is getting better everyday. I cannot change the way some of you guys were treated in the past (with HTG) - but I can assure you that with me in now on duty things are different. I'm not big on excuses but in Jeff's defense he was trying his best to run two departments that both needed a lot of attention. Something had to suffer and in many cases it was some of the HTG orders. I have made it a point to get orders that we have in stock out the next day and orders that we have to order out in no more then three. I can even speed that process up if you deal with me directly.
