Spent way too much $$ this weekend and bought a new Tamron 18-270 VR lens. I am still leaning to use it but I like it so far!

looking at the 24-70 lens... www.kimponskyphoto.com .. wedding photographer was rocking it the other day.. the photos were amazing

not bad... check that price against places like cameta camera online.. i'm not sure, but does the battery grip give you extra fps? otherwise, just take the extra batteries with you... it's a lot easier to lug a camera without the grip (i'm learning this now... )
