Central Ohio (Columbus) Car Meet-ups
 

Hello! I was sorely disappointed at my first Cars and Coffee event as there was only one other S2000. There were three (count them three) Datsun 270 Zs but only two S2Ks? It's a disgrace!

I hope more S2K owners will be attending these events in the future. They are every Saturday (approximately 9AM to noon) at the Lennox Town Center on Olentangy River Road. Here is a link to the website: Columbus Cars and Coffee – Everyone is Welcome and you can also look them up on FB.

Other than the disappointment at only seeing one other S2K, it was a really positive, diverse group of people and cars. Very nice way to start a Saturday, indeed! Hope to see other local S2K owners out there in the future!

I make it to cars and coffee a handful of times a year, but to it's not that enjoyable for me. I'm not sure you will get the most positive of reactions calling S2000 owners disgraceful for not randomly showing up to a meet. Maybe a better attempt would be to start a thread seeing if others want to go with being positive.

One of these weekends, I'll make it down there and I'll make a C&C. Of course, I'll most likely be towing a 1 year old so no S2k. for me. Actually, I'll be down there later this summer so maybe I'll come out and check it out. Wish it was a Sunday and not a Saturday though!

YouKnowRowdy, where is the C&C down here in Columbus? I was planning on hitting up the big one in May, but haven't really gotten a chance to make it out to these other ones. I am in Columbus so making it to one really shouldn't be an issue.

So to add to the confusion... There are actually 2 Cars and Coffees in Columbus.

Columbus Cars and Coffee – Everyone is Welcome is the weekly event at the Cup O Joe in Lennox. This is the more everyday group.

Columbus Cars and Coffee - Columbus Cars and Coffee is the every couple of months organized by some of the more well off (rich) Columbus car owners. The free events are at Byers, and they have their high dollar ticket open to the public events. This may be the "big one in May"

Stop over to the Dayton Cars and Coffee sometime (an hour west of Columbus)... there were apparently 6-8 S2000s there this past week.

I have attended the one at Lennox. I like the laid back, diverse crowd. :) But I'm certainly open to checking out the other one, too. I love a Lambo as much as the next gal. LOL

NIce!!! I'll definitely have to check out one of your meetups soon! My kids are with their Dad every other weekend, so I can only get there on those days.

I went to CC&C many times last year and we be attending again in 3 Saturdays ......tied up this coming ..... TOD next Saturday

Thanks Jho, looks like I'll make it out this Saturday weather permitting. I'm also planning on doing the byers one but I'll have to park in the pauper's section since my car didn't have a 6-figure price tag. ;)

The rich cars and coffee is not really open to the public and they are to snobby to come to the regular folks cars and coffee. When at the Byers meets they don't even talk to anyone but themselves. I come to C&C almost every Saturday. I have the white M2. I look at the S2000's when there. There is a red and a black one there with regularity.

Mine is red (with OZ wheels) and I go fairly often. I'll look for you next time. Anybody going this week? Weather permitting, I'm hoping to be there on the early side. Got caught in the rain the other day and the car is dirty now - hate showing up to a meet with a dirty car.

I am usually there if no rain. The car got wet last Saturday:(

that's what i love about Dayton's CnC.. its a lambo parked next to a vw bug parked next to gt3 parked next to an Integra... everyone is there and for the same reasons.. the caste system for cars is the reason I don't visit the Columbus one.

I'll see if I can get my brother to come over and hang out with los kiddos for a couple hours. If so (and weather permitting) I will be there!

I planned to attend some, but my S2000 is still on jack stands :(. I guess I could bring out the new daily (2010 328 M-sport), but that isn't too exciting.

I met another Berlina Black (an '02) on High Street on Saturday. Super nice kid. It's his first car and he bought it himself. I also saw a NFR AP1 this weekend.

crap weather in store again this weekend for the Columbus Area... I would love to go out though. Installing my new test pipe tonight and would love to try it out on an extended trip to see any differences in the butt dyno.

I will actually be driving through here on Sunday and if I can convince my wife for a detour we may show up to this. (We will be going to a wedding in Vermilion, OH driving back to Louisville, KY) Will anyone be going to this?

Wheel Medic. Figure they kept Jho's wheels in tip top condition, they would keep my wheels in just as good a condition. I did check around here locally up in Cleveland and the prices are either ridiculous or, I don't trust them.

I believe they refinished my wheels after Costco damage three of them a few years ago. Thanks! I will give them a call.

Yes, the cars and coffee group at Lennox Town Center is Saturday mornings. This coming weekend (May 20th) there is another meet on Saturday (from noon to 3) at Alum Creek State Park Beach. A white S2K is on the cover photo!!! The link was not working. If you search facebook for Alum Creek Beach Meet, it will pop up.


I am having a yard sale this Saturday morning so I cannot make it to C&C but will be going to the Beach Meet.

Yup. Dayton C&C at Austin Landing usually has a handful (up to 10) S2000s.

I'm happy with the Dayton turn out.. not to mention 600 other cars on a good weekend.

I won't be able to attend this weekend. Cycling and relaxing over the long weekend is outweighing the drive down to put tires on the wheels I have (which are still in a box). lol

Mocky where are you cycling? I'm doing the ride 2 recovery ride here in Columbus/New Albany on Saturday?

I'm riding at home this weekend. We have a 50 mile bike path nearby me so I am riding there. Next weekend, I'm doing the BikeSpark event by Brandywine Ski Resort.
