Well, I was bored out of my mind so decide to go for a little drive along 33/Riverside drive towards 750. Shortly after passing Hard Rd intersection I see the car on opposite lane that I just passed pulls u-turn and turns his police lights on.

I pull over immediately, and a young officer approaches very carefully with his flash light aiming right at my face.

"Clocked you doing 65mph. May I have your DL, reg and insurance please"

I was very polite with him. There is noway I was doing over 55mph. My V1 didn't even go off. Even if he had instant on radar, my V1 would've beeped but it didn't.

"Officer, I am quite sure I wasn't doing that fast. 55mph maybe."

Then he askes me whether I had anything to drink. "No, not a single drop officer"
He askes me to step out of the car and made me do sobriety test. Simple enough.

He let me get off with verbal warning only. Didn't even mention anything about my missing front plate. Because at first I thought that was the reason why I was getting pulled over.

Anyways, close call. Cool cop. But I am beginning to wonder whether he even really clocked me with laser or radar. Because if he did, I am sending my V1 for check up or sell the focker and just drive like a granny.

 

I know what you mean,Andy.I was in the Civic yesterday and got stopped on 23 just south of Home Rd. for no front plate.

The state trooper was cool and let me go with just a warning ,but he made me late for dinner

I keep the plate attached to the bracket on the floor in the rear and keep it dirty;I told him I hit a pothole on 315 and it came off

 

I think we ar seeing a pattern here with the front plate. Chase, Dave, Steve... Is it worth $100?

PS. Maybe if they would shut down the "Corner" we would not have these FN red Xs!

my 30 day tag expires today. i wasn't planning on putting a front plate on

 

Well boys, looks like the JDM plate holder and front plate are going on. Not worth a $100 ticket. Could use that to mod the car some how.

 

Well, I am considering putting my plate back on as well. Thinking about putting the plate on the front grill.

 

on Ridge near my pad....I was just running up to Lowes to pick up some weed n feed for the yard...oh well...what can ya do
