Default Comptech Back in Business?

I just went to www.comptechusa.com, and it says that the site is under construction. For parts, call a number.

If they are coming back, SWEET!!!

They are indeed coming back. I e-mailed them a few weeks ago to see when the CT exaust would again be available for the AP2, and received the reply that they're currently working on building stock of all products, and that they would be ready to ship shortly. Needless to say, I didn't but a Comptech (went Mugen), but i'm glad to see another S2 parts manufacturer come back to the game!

The Mugen is a better piece anyway Blake.

I'm with Rich, I don't think Comptech is ever going to be the same.

Mugen, cool. I've been thinking about HKS but the more I read and hear about Mugen, the more I'm reconsidering. Hardtopguy did tell me that Comptech was trying to come back but sounds like a process.

The CT exaust is a wonderful sounding exhaust as well. I went Mugen for the rarity factor associated with it, as well as the look of the tips. I'm thinking the car revs a little more freely and may gain a little more power mid-range, but it could all be in my head because the sound is so different than what i'm used to.

I spoke with Shad (formely of Comptech USA) at Mid-Ohio last month. He said the employees purchased the company and were attempting to re-launch the parts side of the business. Not sure on a time-frame though.
Mugen is a solid purchase. You get what you pay for IMO.
Comptech was having reliablity issues near the end if I remember correctly. Baffles and welds failing.
