Just got back from the West Coast and since I was suffering from S2 withdrawal I decided to take my baby out for one last run. Has anyone every driven Riverview Road. It starts at Pleasant Valley road, runs through the Cuyahoga Valley parks, past Boston Mills, Pensula and into Akron. If the weather holds up this weekend I recommend you give it a try. I think the memories of the drive will help get you through the winter. By the way go to the Bay area posting and take a look at the night shot of some S2s posted by a Bay area driver.

I've taken this from Peninsula to near Route 82 in Brecksville. Prior to Route 82 is the entrance for the Metroparks. Follow that to Meadow Dr. and take a left. Get ready for 2 miles of the best road in NE Ohio. It's much better than Chagrin River Rd. IMHO.

If you keep talking about this road, I'm going to have to drag myself out there one day and actually drive it!

There are some serious turns on this road. I already gave you the disadvantages though...short distance, speed limit and deer. If you want to take it sometime, let me know. You work about 3.675 minutes from my house. We can meet there and I'll take you on the extended version of this ride. Then we can take Riverview Rd. back to bk's house for dinner

Sounds like a plan. Hmmmm......... I wonder if my wife would bite on the old "gotta work late dear" routine. I doubt it, better come up with something else.......... I really have to find a hobby for her.

Let me know what your schedule looks like for the ~12:00 - 3:00 time frame this Saturday or Sunday. That's my daughter's nap time and the easiest time to slip away for a few hours. Maybe we could even organize a short notice "mini-meet".
