Ok, I know this is probably a stoopid question for all of the race fans out there, but what are the main differences between F1 and the Indy cars like Danica drives? Please keep the
to a minimum.
Which cars are faster? Is Indy ususally just on oval tracks like NASCAR?

The IRL is primarly on oval tracks although they have started to run a couple of road courses.
They're schedule is this :
Homestead-Miami Speedway
St. Petersburg
Twin Ring Motegi
Indianapolis 500
Watkins Glen International
Texas Motor Speedway
Richmond International Raceway
Kansas Speedway
Nashville Superspeedway
Milwaukee Mile
Michigan International Speedway
Kentucky Speedway
Infineon Raceway
Chicagoland Speedway

What is cart then? I'm finding F1 to be pretty interesting. I've watched more F1 races on Speed this year than ever before. Actually, I don't think I've ever watched an F1 race until earlier this summer.
Cart has some ovals and for the most part road/street courses
They are powered by turbocharged Ford/Cosworth engines
IRL by Honda N/A engines
F-1 by a variety of different makes

now i gotta watch the race..
Ok, I have the impression that IRL cars are subject to a lot of rules and regulations, kind of like NASCAR, in an attempt to even the playing field. And it seems to me that F1 cars are not so much restricted when it comes to technology and crap.
Am I correct here?
