WTF was with the qualifying format. I'm still confused. Its time Max Mosley hears the term KISS.

So here's my system for a knock-out style qualifying, where the objective is to get the drivers cleaner laps.

A 30 minute session where everybody sets a lap time. The field would be divided into two, a slow, and fast group.

A 20 minute session for the slow group to set positions 12-22.
Another 20 minute session for the fast group for pole.

There, done, nice and simple. Don't worry about fuel loads, etc, etc. If you break the car in the first session (like Kimi) you have a shot to salvage a decent start position if you can get it fixed.

Anywho, its shaping up to be a good race. Especially now we don't have to worry about no tire changes.
