Takuma Sato ran only installation lap in qualifying at Interlagos following a scheduled engine change after practice, and thus didn't set a qualifying time.
The Japanese driver already had a 10-place grid penalty after punting Michael Schumacher out of the Belgian GP, and the engine change meant he was on minus 20 places, making it rather pointless to do a flying lap...
The BAR Honda team has filled up the tank of his 007, and thus he will almost certainly be the last driver to stop on Sunday. In Turkey he ran a one-stop strategy after a mistake in qualifying put him to the back and he topped up in the pitlane before the start.
