Default F20c Engine Ticking

Hi all,

Recently, my engine has started making the "playing cards in a bicycle wheel" ticking sound. Through some research it appears to be the worm gear on the TCT. Does anyone in the area have any experience confirming/fixing this issue? I've only owned the car for 8 months, not sure I'm ready to start sanding down engine components just yet... (I'm not even positive that it's the issue).

Thoughts and suggestions are appreciated!

Chris

You can try sandblasting the worm gear in the TCT first, see if that helps. If not, go w. a billman tct.
