Default Blown Engine?

I was reving to redline in 4th gear going into 5th.

I shifted only to discover I have no power.

I didn't hear any weird sounds, let out on the clutch while rolling to a stop to see if it would bump start and the engine turned over.

The engine will not crank, I've rolled it backwards and fowards a few times and it seems to loosen up and will crank a few times then freeze again.

The engine appears to be around 2 quarts low somehow. Oil was changed by the Honda dealership and there is 43,000 miles on the engine.

Someone help? I'm pretty stressed.

(I did have the gopro on though!)

Seized engine most probably. Could be some scoring on #4 too since I see you have a 01. Get a leakdown/compression and that will tell you where to go from here. Get a F22 block if its blown.

Bottom pully will turn about half a turn then lock.

Then half a turn back and lock

does it lock or are not strong enough to overcome the compression. if you haven't yet, put the spark plugs and try again.

Sorry to hear about your problems. Just a guess you dropped a valve. If you have the means remove the valve cover and take a look. The AP1 retainers have been known to fail. Did you see a lot of smoke when this happened? You can lose a lot of oil fast if a valve goes through a piston. I hope this isn't the case. It still sounds like a replacement engine may be in your future.

2 quarts low is enough to cause major issues at high rpms.

I don't understand why it was two quarts low, I had the dealership change the oil.

I'm kind of doubting I would be able to file anything though, The oil was supposed to be changed either 1000 miles or 1 year ago.

Sitting doesn't burn oil and neither should 1000 extra miles.
