Default Headrest speakers

Listing on Ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...50230645&rd=1,1

New OEM headrest speakers for S2000. Price $395. (Honda dealer listing)

Anyone have these installed? What is the quality of sound with the top down?

What is involved in the installation in a 2003 model?

Is the price of $395 reasonable?

Thanks !

J.D.

I bet the sound quality is nice, because i know when im on the highway with the top down i cant hear anything. And when theres 2 people on the car its hard to her any music also because your leg ends up covering the speakrs. My reccomendation would be get some componets up front, and those!

The sound quality of these isn't so great. Get the SPods or Lucid rear panels, tons better.

I've got the SPods in mine. I love 'em. I keep mine just loud enough to add some presence. As a matter of fact, I hardly know they're there until I turn them off, then I really miss them.

You can go to handa-accessories.com and checkout the installation instructions (it's in adobe format)

We have installed several at our dealership and they look nice and sound nice. It all depends how loud you like your music. If your looking for an improvement over the fastory set up, they are real nice. If you want something you can blast and enjoy at a high level, install door speakers and an amp like somebody mentioned. We amped a customers system and installed some JL door speakers and it was night and day.
