Default Help choosing S2000

I am new and wanting to purchase my first Honda S2000. I have narrowed it to 2 choices. First is a 2000 model all stock except it has K&N cold air intake, Spec stage 2 clutch and Spec aluminum flywheel. It has 80,000 miles, for about $13,000. Second choice, all stock S2000 with 115,000 miles for approx. $10,000. Both are in very good condition. Please let me know which to choose. I know the 2000 has a higher rev limit, what else should I know....and what should I consider as far as maintenance and problems etc...

I have a 2001 I love it. Only thing I wish I had was the AP2 interior. If I was you I'd go lower miles. Both are awesome cars but I would buy the 2000

Is the 2004 interior much better? How are they performance wise? 2000 vs 2004?

What year is the second, and what are the colors? I spent a good while searching for what is now my second (just picked it up this weekend), I came across 2 fine examples in that price range, in Ohio. I bought the one, the other one is still out there. It is a 2000 Silverstone and red interior #155 off the line. I really was torn between that and what I bought. Check the Dayton Craigslist, I bet it is still on the market.

I just got done cleaning the interior of what I picked up and really the condition is better than my 06 was with 100k less miles. Other than a couple storage areas and minor aesthetics I think I like the interior on this 01 better, it just seems better built, just my $.02

Akron, 2001 Silverstone. It was in the FS section. High mileage, but very well maintained. For me mileage is meaningless with these cars provided they were maintained. It had some tasteful mods and came with a few extras.

Plastic window on the early AP1's would be a concern for me.

I'd go with the car with less miles if the condition of both are equal.

I'd go for the less miles also.

I'd pick the car that's in better shape and that's been better taken care of. Look for paintwork - could be sign of an accident
