Me personally, I would go with the car that has lower mileage, But being an Ap1 if it still has the plastic rear window could be a downside. You could always use it as a point to talk the price down a little, on the other hand you may like the little extra torque the AP2 offers as well as the few interior updates/ upgrades. I picked up my 00' Silverstone AP1 with an OEM hardtop and a couple tasteful mods for $14.5k and it had 76k on the clock. My advice is take both for a test drive, see how they feel, will give you a chance to listen for any odd noise, feel for any vibrations or other such things . If you want a second opinion on them I live just east of Cleveland, I would be glad to come and help

The top is certainly a factor, both that I was looking at, just had been fitted with new Robins tops with the glass rear.

I'm not a fan of the aftermarket clutch option. It add zero value in this scenario as well. OEM clutch would have been a better choice in my opinion (unless it was boosted)

Pick the car you like better after you drive both... You have to live with your choice not me
Just for some perspective, I drove to Cinci to look at two S2000's and the car I own now was the second pick between the two cars I went to see. You never know what youll like until you try it.
