By the way, how do these guys in the gallery post pics that are larger and crisper than the ones you pic from your album? I have decreased the size and posted pics and Ihave posted the original size...it still comes up the same.

According to the article I posted on the upcoming Sony Alpha earlier in this thread Konica/Minolta apparently sold out their camera technology to Sony so all of those old lenses will fit this new camera. Sony obviously want to break into the market hence the very competitive introductory price on this new DSLR.

I've been teetering between the Sony and the Nikon D200. The Nikon is shaping up to be the favorite at present mainly due to it's sturdy rubber coated alloy construction. Of course it's twice the price.

Will do.

I am currently negotiating with a Hong Kong supplier that a friend of mine obtained one from for around $AUD 400 less than their eBay store prices.

I hope they come to the party. I've been dreaming about this camera.

This looks like a nice little lens for travel photography needs...

Digital Rev currently have it for around $AUD 499 (Around $390 USD).

That was on the auto portrait setting. Locks in on the main object and shuts down the background.
