Default Hit and Run.

I was a passenger in a pretty nasty accident on Tuesday night which leaves me recovering from whiplash, closed head injury, some small scraps and nursing a friggen headache that won't quit. My roommate from college and I were coming home watching my cousin's band. I guess I don't really remember the whole thing, but we were going through a green light and someone ran a red and t-boned us right behind my seat. We were hit hard completly totaling my buddies car. My head went trough the passenger window and knocked me silly. I was not able to exit the car and had a hard time moving so when the fire and EMS arrived they removed me with a back board and neck gear, where I remained for a long time. I later gained full movement but was kept in the ER for a catscan (came up clear) and observation. I was very lucky and thank God for not getting hit right on the passenger door or I might not be typing this e-mail. The real bitch of the story is that the person who hit us DID NOT STOP. They hit and ran, many parts of their car were recovered and they could not have gotten too far, but far enough to hide or something. The world is so full of morons, especially to leave two people they hurt in car on the side of the road. I hope they find these guys! Luckly my buddy and I will be fine just very sore for some time!

We never saw the car that tagged us (its all a blur and the impact put us behind barrier where we could not see the other car while they were making their get-away, but from the parts the police collected it looks like a blue Barretta or Corsica. If anyone sees a car that fits this discription (heavily damaged) or in body shop please let the Cleveland police know! Thanks and wear your seat belts.

Yes, I was wearing a seatbelt!!

Dude, keep an eye on your head injury. Did the ER give you head injury precautions? You should have someone around you for a few days.

Yeah, the ER gave me a list of things to watch for. Thank you for your concern.
