Default If you could ask Malcolm Bricklin anything

I was going to post this in car-talk, but I will start with you all first.

Anyway, what you talk to him about concerning Chinese auto imports? Especially from an enthusiast's perspective. I don't care so much about the contraversy or politics, but more about the cars, dealer experience, etc.

Visionary Vehicles

thanks.

What was the inspiration for the Bricklin car name?

No seriously, I would want to know what cars he has parked in the "garage".

From there, I would just say "Yugo"... what did you learn from that venture and how is this new venture going to improve upon that bad image people have.

Given the past Bricklin's sporty image and theme as well as the leading technology that was included at the time, what is in it for enthusiasts in the planned chinese models?

I don't know, I would have to think about it more.

I would ask, "do you remember where you go Yugo?"

FFS, Rich. He brought Subaru to the US in the late 60s, built his own car in the 70s, brought the Yugo here in the 1980s. I thought you were a marketing pro. His wins and bombs are good examples to know

Hey GB, Yugo North America had bought out Bricklin's shares a couple years before it fell apart. The downfall was that product quality suffered due to the implosion of the Yugoslav republics at the end of the 80s and into the 90s. Not so much his fault.

I would ask him, as the only Canadian car manufacturer, why the hell he doesn't start another Canadian car company.

I would also ask him how I would go about aquring the rights to sell TVR's here only becuase I want one, and if I made money on it even better

Are you the middle child in your family?

Are you the inspiration for "Malcolm in the Middle"

If you had gone into the powder industry;would we now be using Malcolm Powder?

I once lived in a house made of bricks;did you invent those too?
