Impromptu Drives
5000 miles of some of the greatest roads I have ever travelled on. France, Switzerland and Austria provided the back drop, Peugeot (307 Turbo Diesel) the ride, and following the trails of Lance Armstrong (tour de France) through the French Alps was the high light of the whole trip. I tried to post photos and some reports as I went, though that turned out to be a more difficult then expected.
Drove through Gothard pass several times in Switzerland. Long tunnels! Great roads. We would head to Rome on the long weekends from Landstuhl Germany. About 13 hour trip. Took a VM Golf hatchback.

Anyone interested in a trip down Rt. 164 from Lisbon, Oh. this Saturday. Weather is looking good so far, and we here at Y-town need to scout this rout for our meet this summer. I've checked it out in my Odyssey this winter and it is a good trip, 40+ miles. Found it on this site. http://www.motorcycleroads.us/index.html
Lisbon is about 20 miles south of Y-town.
