I'm trying to find someone to do an install on my S, or even better consult an install. I'm in the Dayton area, but I'd travel a little bit. Thanks,

something in particular that you were looking to install? depending on what it is, some people can help you locally.. more challenging stuff might require a professional...

Well, I guess it would be nice to tell what I'm trying to do, eh? Sorry! I'm looking to do a fairly minor stereo install. I've never done one with amps, etc..., So I just need some pointers to head in the right direction.....

I was thinking a new H/U (JVC KD-ADV38) amp and upgraded speakers

There's a ton of info in the electronics forum. The FAQ there is solid. But, I'm sure a few locals can help too.

definitely...

from the ohio forum, i'd recommend jake just from personal experience. he's been a very knowledgable person and has no vendor bias (which i personally hate). he's in cleveland though.

I've been reading the electronics forum. I was actually looking for a local person. I haven't met Jake, but I'll keep an eye out for him. Thanks,

uh...really? i think i recall asking you about a few products that i thought were ok and you referred to them as "walmart-like"..

just a thought... i'm working on a mod day before the annual route 26 run. maybe a possibility you can do it then if you want to get service work done and get your stereo in as well... (i should have something finalized within the week)
