Lowmount Backyard Seat Rail
Anyone in Ohio here have this mod?
I'm near 6'0 and am thinking about lowering my seat some and need some feedback / testimony / suggestions about this mod. I would like to have a seat in someones car with a lower seat even if it's not the Backyard Seat Rail to find alternatives to lowering my seat.

I lowered my seat, Im 6'3. I followed the instructions found here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...ST&f=1&t=50658
It took a few hours and was a PITA to do but overall worth it 110%.

I'm considering busting out the exacto knife and hammering the seat bolts, but the thing that stopping me is that this would be more a perminant change. Hmm....
Did you cut some of the seat foam too?
I would have a better idea if I could sit in someone elses car who has a lower seat either through this method or with aftermarket seats / rails.
With this mod day coming up, hopefully if you or someone else who has a lower seat can help me out and allow me to sit in your seat.

No prob you can sit to get a feel for it. I think mines actually lower then the seat rail, IIRC the seat rails only lower the seat 20mm. I did not cut any of the seat foam out.

Boy the problems that others have. I have to sit on a phone book to be able to see out the windshield.
