New Comptech goes on as soon as my car is fixed..

 

Well, if I am lazy, the dealer will install for $45...
bleh... maybe I'll just do it myself.. I don't know why they couldn't have installed the mufflers while my car was at the body shop...

they had the front bumper and side piece already taken off and were ready to get moving 2 days ago since they knew I needed my car for Eric's wedding this weekend

Good news.. Car was done.. made it to the wedding

Bad News.. Roof rattles like crazy... they tried to pinpoint it before, but they couldn't figure it out..
Driving back on 75, it's pretty clear that the latches are rattling.. Over 100.. they sound like teeth chattering..

Anyone else have this problem? I'm taking the car BACK to the dealership for the 3rd time now... hope they get it right...

The hardtop strikers made my hardtop and softop fit much tighter

 

i might ask them to replace mine with those. did that help with any rattle from the latches? mine shutter
i'm getting frustrated... taking the car back and forth this many times really shouldn't be happening..

 

Even though mine's an '00 and notorious for that issue, I noticed a huge difference after the hardtop strikers were put in (thanks again david1!). On the other hand, you're car's not even a year and a half old, so you'd think it wouldn't be an issue. Hope it's resolved soon!

 

I just got my hardtop and automatically put the new strikers on.
