well i guess, this should be a place where i find some help in finding a job..... i am new here in columbus and i am trying everywhere to get a part-time job....... i tried everything but everything in the town seems to be all takin up..... i was wondering if any of u local guys know anything or could help in my quest to find a job.. thanx and i greatly appreiciate this.....

 

Is there anything you're dead set against? Or something specific you had in mind? Office assistant type work? Retail? Food service, etc?

 

ummmm more office work would be nice....... nothing really in the fast food business because i was a waiter and that is somethin i can not take anymore.... thanx u sooo much... its nice to see people on this board who actually care

 

You're a student, right? Some of the departments in my building, over on west campus, have a number of student employees. I am not sure if there are any vacancies, but I will ask around.

I'm out tomorrow, so it will be Wednesday before I know anything.

You might also try private security companies such as Burns and Guardsmark. They are always hiring, have flexible hours and you can often study on the job in relative peace..............just something to think about.

they are always advertising in the columbus dispatch, particularly the Sunday paper. If all else fails, I am sure they are listed in the phone book..............
