Hey,
New member here. I am in the market for a s2000 and would like to brush up on my s2k info so i have been doing a lot of reading. I am located in Lorain County. Is there anyone local that i could check out their s2000 before i start going to look at used ones? I am a former 350z owner. I have always wanted a s2000 since they came out in 2000. I dont know the s2000 as well as i do the 350z however. I would like to just be able to do some visual research to see what is normal and what is not normal on these cars. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Thank you everone for the replies it is greatly appreciated. I have been looking at a few used s2000's and unfortunately I am unable to get a lower milage one in better shape. This will end up being a project car for me. Trying to get a decently clean car with a clean title at a low price under 9k.

What's the criteria.
I wouldn't focus on the mileage so much and more on the history of the car. I know of newer '09s with a ton of miles and some low mile '08s with less than 20k on the odometer that have more track miles than commuter miles. Just throwing that out there. Good luck with you search.

I agree with Mocky. Mileage isn't near as important as how they got those miles. 9k may be a hard goal though.

I don't mind having to replace a few things. Two of the cars I have looked at have been slammed so low the tires rub the fenders and have slight bents in fender since they didn't roll the fenders.
One is white '00 with 150k miles bad top but he says it comes with a new top and motor for the top. he's asking 8000.
One is Silverstone with 105k miles newer top missing all the splash guards due to it being so low. Interior is decent I would have to replace the top of the arm rest. I don't think they are the stock head lights and they need polished. It has acura wheels so i need the stock ones. They are asking 9500. With parts thay need replacing I am hoping to get them to go down to 6500.
