It will indeed be going to Mid-Ohio for one of their intermediate track days next year. I've now done their basic class twice, once in their ILX, and once in my S2000.

After a week with the NSX, I'm still becoming accustomed to the much slower steering. If only this car had the S2000's lightning-quick steering, I'd be all set! I'm afraid I'd be shuffle-steering on the track in the NSX. It is almost certain that at some point, I will have another S2000 in my stable, along with the NSX. Just need to finish my RLX lease first before I start considering it....

Nothing else matches the sound of the C32B at almost 8k rpm, though. That has a properly exotic car-sounding noise to it.

Good to hear you're liking the car. Also good to hear you're gonna take it to Mid Ohio. I wouldn't worry about the steering. It's likely to have plenty speed/ratio once on track.

Cheaper alternatives to a Mid Ohio school class would be a NASA or PCA event. You can get good instruction there too.

Hope to see you out and about with the car

Congratulations! Nice. Looks great! Tough to tell which one I'd want more. Too bad you couldn't keep them both, for the whole '1 engineer-2 cars' thing.

Many congrats and one of the best colors! You will love it!

I just sold my NSX a couple weeks ago which was on my bucket list too. I added another car lately and the NSX was on the bubble.
It will definitely be missed.

The steering is one of the best parts of the car, ton of road feel and comunication! The more you drive it the more you understand, trust and enjoy it.

I didn't know you had a NSX. Ya learn something new every day! Thanks for the advice on the steering. I'm now used to the steering--I've now already got over 1000 miles on the "new" car. The weather has been pretty decent, so I've been driving it every nice day I can until I am compelled to put it away for the winter.

I've already got my mod pile building up:

Bilstein shocks--purchased, arrival pending (plan to run them on the lower perch to lower the car a teeny bit). Now I just need someone to install them. You may be getting a call when the time comes, Bullitt44....

17/18 SSR Integral GT1 wheels, received, and yes, those are the same type of wheels that were on my S2000. I guess I really like them!

Pirelli P Zero Nero GT tires, ordered

Bought a broken NSX radio for cheap, and have sent it to Willman's Electronics for conversion to a modern unit with bluetooth, etc. A little costly but keeps the stock interior look

Khrant Enterprises car cover for when I finally store the car--received

...and that's about it. Thinking about exhaust but it's not a priority. Next driving season should be fun with this car and these mods.

Hmmmmm. Is that Boxster S still around? I know a CR that could be replaced by it

Well, maybe not replaced. Parked next to?

If I have to, I'll pick your CR up if you're going to let it go
