It's an Eight Spotted Forester. Every pic I've seen of one shows that four of its legs are orange

It wouldn't stay still long enough on a plain green leaf to take a pic and see more detail of it.

 

Too far up on its legs to be pollen. We have lavender bushes and the bees love 'em. The other day one flew by me and skidded on the sidewalk. He was loaded with pollen from some other bushes. he righted himself and flew away.
