The other half was the implementation of what you had learned and follwoing through to enforce the impact of the lesson learned and respond as a noble citizen to others in your community. At least that is what I got from it each week in elementry school.

Here's one where the "good old days" weren't so good:
Remember that stupid little red string that you were supposed to pull to open a Band-aid? That you could never grab because you were freaking bleeding? And if you did manage to grab it and pull it, you had a red string in one hand and an unopened BandAid in the other.
