Because Mr Helper since this site is open to all maybe others would like as much info as possible before making a change on their car.

Knowledge is power, the more informed you are the better a consumer you become.

Besides, Joe worked with these cars on a daily basis and I value his insight and experience.

Gary, Dave Andy and those that track the car might want to spend some time in the racing and competition forum. Springs aren't going to help you. Most recommend using a better shock and a stiffer front bar until you really need a decent coilover for a full-race S2000.

Some information from the racing and comp forum
----------------------------------------------------------
Lowering springs on stock shocks usually makes for an underdamped car, the springs have to be stiffer to keep the shocks off the bumpstops, but the shocks can't control them as a result. You'll end up with a car that might handle ok for awhile but will quickly degrade.

I was actually thinking about the Variant 2's or 3's so I am glad you asked. Anyone? Bueller?

Good thread. I like what Rich had to say about springs from the racing forum. I may have to check that out more.

I like the Variant 3 set-up since you can adjust Compression settings. I dont know much about the company and I dont have any feedback from someone using them.
